Four-wheel drive cars or off-road vehicles. Models are the Amigo, sidekick, rocky, and Jeep Wrangler.
Great gift for kids. You will need a scroll saw or band saw
with a thin blade in it for this project.

Instructions
Step 1
Transfer the shape of the pieces to the wood.
Step 2
Cut the center pieces first. Locate and drill the 1/8-inch-diameter
holes lor the axles.
Step 3
Tape or tack the two side pieces together. Cut both
out at the same time so you will have a perfect pair.
Step 4
Glue the sides, parts number I, to the center, part
number 2, and sand all edges as needed. Round the top and sides
slightly as the original vehicle would be rounded. Do not round
the area where the fenders will be glued on.
Step 5
If needed, cut out the fenders, and glue them to the
body.
Step 6
Temporarily add the wheels, parts number 4, and the
axle pins, parts number 5. Check that you have clearance and
that the wheels turn
easily.
Step 7
Remove the wheels and paint the body to suit using
bright shiny colors. Add accent colors for the top and bumpers.
Step 8
Paint the wheels and hubs.
Step 9
Assemble, and your cars are ready for fun and whatever
off-road duty your children can put them through.
