
This clock is a handy clock. Placed next to a telephone it is great,
since you can keep notepaper in it for taking telephone messages.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut all of the pieces to overall size. Sand all surfaces, keeping
all of the edges sharp.
Step 2
Locate and drill the 2 1/8-inch-diameter hole for the insert. Cut
the two 45 degree top edges.
Step 3
Assemble the back board, front, and sides together—parts number
1,2, and 3.
Step 4
Cut a 1/4-inch-wide by 1/4-inch-deep dado around the bottom
inside surface as shown at view A-A.
Step 5
Cut the bottom, part number 4, to size, and tack it in place. Do not glue. Make a loose fit to allow for expansion.
Step 6
Finish to suit.
Step 7
Add a battery to the clock movement, and insert it into the hole.
Step 8
Add the feet and paper, parts number 7 and 8. It's all set for years
of use.
