Instructions

Step 1
Cut all pieces to overall size.

Step 2
Cut the ends, parts number I, to shape. Locate and drill the three 3/16-inch-diameter holes. Do not drill through; drill only 3/16 of an inch deep. Make the 3/16-inch wide by 1/8-inch deep dado. The width should be the width of two pieces of glass, plus a photo. Be sure to make a right-hand and a left-hand pair.

Step 3
Cut the three dowels, parts number 2, to length.

Step 4
Carefully glue the ends, parts number 1, to the three dowels, parts number 2. It is a good idea to have the glass temporarily in place so that the ends will be square.

Step 5
Add the small stops, parts number 3, as shown.

Step 6
Remove the glass; finish to suit. Add clean glass and a photo; now you have a beautiful, modern picture stand.
