Christmas Tree Decoration Free Project Plan

Here is a simple decoration that is easy to make and will add a festive flair to any setting. This makes a great craft fair project.

Christmast Tree Decoration Instructions

Step 1
Using a 3/4-inch thick board 7 1/2 inches wide and 16 inches long, lay out all pieces. If you plan to make a few of these, make a pattern of each part out of heavy cardboard or hardboard.

Step 2
Locate and drill all 1/4-inch-diameter holes. Do not drill through the base, part number 1.

Step 3
Cut out all of the pieces, and sand all over. Round all edges slightly.

Step 4
Glue the base, part number 1, to the center stem, part number 9.

Step 5
Drill a 1/4-inch-diameter hole into the star, part number 10, as shown. You might want to use a clamp to hold the star while drilling the hole. Do not drill through.

Step 6
Assemble all parts and paint to suit.
